Epsilon is the heroic name of Allen Preston, sophomore at Poseidon Prep.
The eldest child of superhero Bronze Guardian, Allen has grown up in his father's shadow. The fact that his powers come nowhere near the Guardian's levels has been a source of personal frustration. Just before beginning high school, the vision power manifested when Allen was handing his dad's shield to him for a press shoot. He saw the shield being ripped from his father's hand by a huge taloned hand.
Four months later, when Guardian woke from the coma, he smiled weakly at his son and said, "I guess you get that from your mother's side."
Powers and abilitiesEdit
Epsilon displays a level of strength similar to that of a top competitive weightlifter, the ability to fly (but only at a normal human's running speed), and has had some training in hand-to-hand combat. Epsilon's primary power is a little creepy to others and not quite fine tuned. He can get visions or impressions about an object by touching it (a form of psychometry). Currently he has trouble distinguishing whether the vision is of the past or the future.
Intelligent, a great researcher, and showing a promising future in his hand-to-hand combat classes.
Quiet, studious, but with a fun, outoing personality held in check by a fear of rejection. He knows he belongs at the school, but isn't sure if he can actually make it onto one of the ISC squads. His strength and flight levels are probably far too low, and what good would getting visions do in a competition? But just this year, he has started to come to terms with being bi, so he's just joined the Gay/Straight Alliance (but not the squad).
